The Academic Programme of our college is affiliated to the RAJIV GANDHI UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES. The inception of THGOI was in the year 2008 with a GNM course, a three year degree programme and it expanded its horizons with BSc Nursing (2009),Diploma in X-ray technology and medical lab technology (Affiliated to Paramedical Board –Karnataka), PBBSc Nursing , MSc. Nursing , BSc in Medical Imaging Technology, BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology, Bachelors of Physiotherapy, B.Sc in Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology, B.Sc Dialysis Technology ,BSc Emergency and Trauma care Technology ,MSc Medical Imaging Technology .

ADMISSION: The student’s admission is monitored by a duly constituted ‘Admission Committee’. The admission of student is purely on merit and also in accordance with the guidelines from the Government of Karnataka and the RAJIV GANDHI UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES. The total intake of the students for GNM is 60, BSc Nursing is 60, PBBSc Nursing is 40, MSc Nursing is 5, BSc Medical Imaging technology is 30, M.Sc Nursing, BSc Medical Laboratory Technology is 30, B.Sc in Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology is 20, B.Sc Dialysis Technology is 10, BSc Emergency and Trauma Care Technology 10, MSc Medical Imaging Technology 05, BPT is 40.

FACULTY: We have a team of experienced faculty members comprising of Doctors, Physiotherapists, Nurses and Paramedics – along with supporting and administrative staff.

INFRASTRUCTURE:

We have Lecture Halls with LCD projectors, Seminar halls, 1 Main Auditorium, 1 mini auditorium, Physiotherapy outpatient department, various laboratories for undergraduate and post graduate courses.

Library: The college library has a collection of more than 1850 books out of which about 450 are subsidiary subject books. The library also includes a digital library facility. The institution has the access for Helinet provided by RGUHS.

Girl’s Hostel: THGOI campus has a girl’s hostel to accommodate 500 students.

Academics: The academic session for 2022-2023 batches commenced on 3rd January 2022 with an orientation programme for the first year students. Welcome Party for fresher was organised in the same month with sensitization program about curbing the act of ragging.

University Results: The results of the examinations conducted by the RGUHS in the academic year 2021-22 were encouraging with 75 to 80% in various Bachelor’s and Master Programmes. However, we are continuously striving hard strategically to improve the percentage of results especially in the first year of the undergraduate programmes.

24th January 2023: Inauguration of blood donation camp at Tejasvini Institutions, Kudupu.

26th January 2023: Republic Day celebration at Tejasvini Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Kudupu

16th March 2023: World kidney day programme at Tejasvini Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Kudupu

18th March 2023: Annual Sports Day- ACCOLADES’23 of Tejasvini Hospital Group of Institutions held in Mangla stadium

01st April 2023: Graduation ceremony-2023 at Tejasvini Hospital Group of Institutions, Kudupu

08th July 2023 : Vanamahotsava at Tejasvini Hospital Group of Institutions, Kudupu

17th August 2023: Independence Day celebration at Tejasvini Hospital Group of Institutions, Kudupu

25th August 2023: Onam celebration at Tejasvini Hospital Group of Institutions, Kudupu

Cultural and Extra Curricular Activities: This year also several student centric activities are organized. Republic Day, Independence Day, Fresher’s Day, Teacher’s Day, Breast cancer awareness day, Radiology day, Sharadha Pooja, Deepavali day, Christmas day and International Women’s Day were celebrated with great involvement enthusiasm by students and staff, along with our hospital staff.

From Next academic year (2023-24) we are intending to start
