Prof. M. Shantharam Shetty, a renowned name in Orthopaedic Surgery has been a Professor and Director of PG Studies in Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore and Dean of K.S Hegde Medical Academy Deralakatte for 9 years and was the first Vice-Chancellor of Nitte University and now the Pro Chancellor. He was also the past President of Indian Orthopaedic Association and AO Trustee for 6 years.

Dr. M. Ajith Kumar his Postgraduation from KMC, Manipal and MCh from the Mecca of Orthopaedic Surgery in Liverpool. Had extensive training in Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy, Paediatric Orthopaedics and is the mainstay of teaching in our institution.
